Top 12 Jacksonville Restaurants on the Water | Visit Jacksonville (2024)

They say great dining experiences engage more than just your sense of taste. The way the scent of cookies baking will make your dessert that much more delightful, or how just the sizzling of bacon will make your mouth water.

And while the way your food looks is a huge part of the experience, so is the sight of your surroundings. Nothing makes fresh fish taste better than enjoying it while watching waves crash against the beach. A romantic dinner for two goes from a nice evening to something spectacular when you can watch the sun set over your meal. For an incredible dining experience with breathtaking views, check out these waterfront restaurants in Jacksonville, FL!

‘For spots with a view, I really enjoy Safe Harbor Seafood. You get a lovely view of the river while you eat, and the patio is screened in so you don’t have to worry about bugs or birds stealing your food. I always get the Captain Walters Combo seafood basket with fried clams and scallops. Another great option for a view is O-Ku. Not only do they have some of the best sushi in town, they also have a rooftop area with fantastic views of the beach and the pier. My favorite things to get there are the O-Toro Spoons and the O-Ku Rock Shrimp
